no joke, but that offense the Spurs were running was practically the same D'Antoni system, but instead of a moron coach running the system, Pop was coaching it and made the Spurs overachieve with that system.

Dipshyt, that would only be true if the same people were saying both things. Most knowledgeable basketball fans thought they'd lose to the thunder, and they did. And it does not matter what "people" were saying. what matters is this: was there a reasonable expectation of the spurs winning? The answer is, yeah, maybe 20-30 out of a 100 shot. LIke the celts they are an old, cagey team. Like the celts, they overachieved. With that roster, they had no business winning so much.

They didnt choke imo...they learned that OKC is for fukkin reals. Simple as that. Your regular season record dont mean shyt...cakewalks in the playoffs don't mean shyt when your not playing good teams...Utah and the Clippers. What a joke...that little 20 game streak wasnt shyt either...the only team of note they beat during that whole stretch was the Lakers...one of those games was without Bynum. I'm not impressed with them beating the Clippers. I wasnt impressed when they got 2 wins at home against the Thunder...thats what they were supposed to do. They almost lost one of those games...If you thought the Spurs were gonna mash on the Thunder your a fukkin idiot...I told ya'll that there streak wasn't special...it wasnt any different than the 08-09 cleveland cavs...who went thru detroit and and atlanta like wet paper bags. i told you they wouldnt beat or tie the 01 Lakers record...and I told you the Thunder were gonna give them all they can handle...none of this should come as a revelation to a fan with a slight amount of basketball knowledge.

Thunder were the second best team in the league. I guess the thunder choked too, since they lost 4 straight after winning 5 straight.

Heat losing to the Mavs.
Losing to a superior team is not a "choke" even if you won 100 games in a row previously.
