...The fact that marijuana is considered a controlled substance is irrelevant because so is tobacco, remove the negative connotation of it being a drug and ask yourself if this is really a problem serious enough that adults need to be told whether or not they are allowed to use it.
Well, the fact that it is a controlled substance is highly relevant. Would you be okay if your dentist smoked pot before and during prophylaxsis of your teeth? Because according to you, the fact that it is a controlled substance is irrelevant. How sober and focused would your dentist be while cleaning your teeth. Because if it were legal, then you should have no problems with that situation because it's just like tobacco.

lol that makes no sense...the dentist should be responsible enough to not smoke before work...same way he doesn't drink before work...or get hopped up on monster and redbull and have shaky hands and a accelerated heart rate...but that doesn't mean we should outlaw coffee lol....c'mon man...you can't "baby-proof" the world man.....

Would you be ok if your dentist smoked a newport before he operated on your mouth? Thats also a controlled substance and I bring this up only because of the fact that you only mentioned that its a controlled substance because of the negative stigma attached to those words, all it means is that its a substance that's use/sale/production is controlled by the government, extra strength excedrin, viagra, penicillin and other over the counter and prescription medicines are considered controlled substances too and yet they're looked at in a much different light. I have already stated that there would still need to be regulation so if weed was legalized this would still be just as illegal as it is now and it would STILL be a controlled substance thus making the fact that its a controlled substance irrelevant to this discussion as that would not change nor does it validate your argument. If you have the time perhaps you can focus on the bulk of my message to you and not just one statement you thought you could pop a hole in.

Yep, I would be okay.
And actually, my dentist when I was growing up was a cigarette smoker. His breath was awful all the time. He's not high when smoking tobacco.

Yes, it does make sense. He's saying marijuana's controlled substance status is irrelevant. The fact that you know it's a mind-altering substance is supportive of my belief that marijuana's controlled-substance status is relevant.

Not when one of my supportive sentences stated that it would still be a controlled substance and THATS why its irrelevant to the discussion, friend. :comeon: Its irrelevant to the discussion because the regulation of marijuana would be a constant upon legalizing it so there would be no increase in dentists performing surgeries while high... If you want I can name a few other things that would not change if it was legalized that are also irrelevant, such as your ability to try and disprove logic by providing a lack thereof.

tons of bad info in here....and this cop is brainwashed like a mother fukker....

you can't blame weed for lazy fukks who just so happen to smoke weed...for every person who smokes and is a POS their is a successful smoker..

and then you claim people are murdered and die over weed....dog..that isn't weed it's a direct result of the ILLEGALITY of weed...weed is WAY safer then liquor and it's not even close....stop looking at the government sponsored "studies" IE propaganda and start reading/looking around with your own eyes...

Exactly.. Remember all the folks killed over liquor during prohibition.

Its cool as long as you dont let it control you,
Im an avid smoker and am in a position to do so :yeshrug:

When I smoke by myself it makes me extremely creative and even somewhat compassionate, qualities I naturally lack. When sober, if its not about money than I dont wanna hear it :hmm: I guess you could say Im a sober sociopath, been that way since a youngin :manny:

Its also a decent social tool, people like to talk when they're high :scheme:
Using alcohol socially will result in me on some bricksquad shyt or gettin at anything with a vagina :merchant:
