So how is a 1 hour lunch a flex again?

Flexible hours are common in the office world. It is an effective way out of getting the most out of employees. Flexibility is something that is beneficial for all parties.

Between you not realising a half hour difference would have you finishing at 16:30 and this ignorance, you're telling me that you're hot air.

You read one too many books pushing that bootstrap, fake it to you make it, babble. Now pride won't let you admit you are going nowhere. You are the quintessential temporarily embarrassed millionaire.

Well, I work from home more often than not so it's fine with me.

Half the time I just take an hour nap on my break :russ: :flabbynsick:

It’s 8-4 with a 1 hour lunch. Take ya laptop and go sit on the terrace or walk down to the water. Might fukk around and go home during lunch because I wasn’t feeling my best that day:francis:
I'm 8-5 technically with my availability hours but I almost never wait until 5 to leave :mjlol:

By 4pm if it ain't shyt going on I'm out :camby: If they call me bout something after 4 chances are it's already 5pm or close to it so I just say I'll look into in the morning and I'm already at the house :lolbron:

One of the reasons I rather work in the office is that I don't have to actually be in the office for 8hrs and I just gotta look busy. Plus time I spend traveling to sites is a part of my work hours. Some days I'm driving for 4-5 hrs and only working 2 or 3 hrs

No, flexible hours aren't common at all. :russ:Why do you think people hate the office? Why do you think so many people pushed WFH? I go home at 4, you go home at 5. :umad:

MOST people are working 8 to 5 or 9 to 5. MOST people aren't going home 2 hours early like you claim.

I’m in the office right now with a pair of new balance on. I got Leadership Training: Connecting Through Conversation for the next 4 hours.

Depends where you are

I worked 7-330 in the city half hr lunch was fine cuz u could walk 2 blocks in any direction and get anything i wanted

Ive also done 8-5 and 1 hr lunch out in the sticks i hinestly hate that

I rather be aboe to skip lunch and come in or go later. Places that are OCD with my time like that i dont even wanna work for and i weed out on interviews as i tell them it right off the bat. Some people just wanna control their employees lives and be able to get shyt when they want. If i wanna skip lunch wnd go hone early i dont see the issue. We are all adults.

Some places hire young people to just dictate over others. I dont wanna feel like im in high school when i goto work. I never felt like that when i worked in nyc but outside yes but its always small rinky dink shyt.

American work culture is poison. 9 hr work day. Working manufacturing and we get 2 10 minute breaks and one 30 minute lunch. Takes me 4 minutes to walk to my lunch area. 30 minutes aint shyt.

On our 10 minute breaks, it takes me bout 5 minutes to go to the restroom and gotta wait for a stall/urinal to open up cause it's like 9 nikkas waiting in line to shyt/pee. shyt is depressing.

Wait, yall gotta clock out for lunch:pachaha:
I used to be horrible when I was working in the office. I would take 2 to 2.5 hour lunches on the daily. Been doing the same since working from home. I'll take a two hour gym break then come home and go on lunch to eat.

I take an hour to an hour and a half depending on when my next scheduled patient appointment is. :manny:

I’m probably gonna transition to telemedicine in a couple of years so shyt like a lunch break won’t be a thought….
