i went to the website yesterday and weeks before...tried to apply...got quotes.

in the 10 years i havent been to the ER (and im being EXTREMELY generous with that 10 years, because the last time i was at the ER in april 2004 i was robbed and shot, and the victims compensation fund of pennsylvania paid for everything...before that i think 2 or 3 years before that i stepped on some glass in my basement bare foot and had to go get stitches..)

so even when the generosity of me taking a victim bullet and only claiming 10 years since i needed er treatment and doctor visits...when it should really be doing this with 13 years as my number...with the quote i was given....this is what i would have paid in health insurance for 10 years, without seeing a doctor for jack shyt:

OLDER. you never know what you may have until its to late with your mentality. you gets no check ups. therefore they can never find cancer that you have. by the time you go checking. you're probably a stage 4 on your way out. all you had to do was get your check ups and they could've caugth that at stage 1 or 2 and you would be good to go. but nawwww you dont want to pay a couple of dollars even though you say you can eat an entire medical bill without insurance.

in addition. you already help pay for everyone doing the same stupid thing you're doing right now(not having insurance). and for those that cant eat the bill or afford it. thats coming out of your taxes. Its also killing the rest of us and making us pay higher premiums to cover those people.

again the ACA is setup so that the more healthy people like yourself get in, the cheaper it would be for ALL OF US. not just someone else. YOU TOO. but imagine how many healthy young dudes are thinking just like you. if all yall could get off that old mindset and understand whats going on. you would realize when all of you join together and hop in. the rates will be noticeably cheaper. the rates are good for some now, wack for a small portion and so so for the rest. thats cause yall have not jumped in like yall need to. yall being the ultra healthy population.

the only way your job insurance is worse then federal insurance thru the exchanges is if your job aint kicking in for your insurance. and they make you pay for 100% of it. so basically its not insurance from your job. they are just playing the role of an exchange themselves.

what a lot of yall dont realize is that because of the way the ACA works. no more pre-existing condition clauses to stop people from being covered. no more kicking male off their insurances because they've spent a lot money with an illness or condition. thats a lot of kids, not just grown ups that usually get denied for this kind of stuff. this is something that ACA forced the insurance companies to do. but doing that costs money. so we all have to pay. the more healthy people get in, the cheaper it will be for EVERYONE including you. the more yall take the "i'm saying out" approach. the higher the costs will be.

Then just pass legislation that make insurance companies take people with pre-existing condition without making people buy health insurance.

lets say i run an insurance company.

and say i got 10 people paying premiums. and i have these pre-existing clauses to keep really sick kids or sick people out, shoot even some chicks just cause they were pregnant(that can also be a pre-existing condition..which is ridiculous by definition but its costly).

So now the govvy says hey You rapbeats insurance inc. your company now has to cover an additional 30 people that use to not get your insurance due to pre-existing. I say ok, fine, how am i supposed to pay for the extra sick people that i'm about to inherit?

this is where you mr healthy/mrs healthy come in. its just like car insurance. the reason insurance works is because odds are most people dont get into accidents that will be more then their mid range $500 ded. so people rarely use their insurance. this means the insurance company gets to build up a piggy bank of JUST IN CASE cash for those idiots that just dont know how to drive or people that live in areas with idiots that dont know how to drive. and keep getting into accidents that are very expensive to fix.

we the non accident havers are paying for that.

its the same thing with the ACA. the more healthy people that join. or the more people dont have complicated illness that cost a lot of money. the more money in the piggy bank the insurance companies have for really sick people. and we're not talking about fat slobbs getting fat slob illnesses. we're not talking about some overly skinny anorexic chick/dude thats choosing to go that route in order to lose wait vs doing it the normal way. we're talking about kids/adults that were born with illnesses. some that just picked them up growing up. no fault of their own. you could be 100% healthy until you hit 25 and bam you got breast cancer. you didnt eat fried foods, you worked out, are in great shape etc. but there are a lot of things out there in the environment you cant avoid. like car exhaust, other people smoking, etc, etc.

I have been healthy all my life and barely got sick, I had nothing to lose so I applied Obamacare and got it for free since I'm in school.

Best decision I ever made because I got the worst flu in the world that hit me with post viral syndrome, had me going to the doc and hospital for the past 5 weeks straight. Now that I'm doing better, I don't have to pay a dime cus obamacare covered it all.
