so has white supposedly ownership of hip hop stop yall fav artist right now from putting out the stuff they wanted.
has white ownership stopped you from being able to get any song/album you wanted to put on a playlist so you can listen to whatever the hell you want to and not the mainstream stuff that may not sound good?
does white ownership mean that you dont have free will and dont have to buy what these corporations selling?

you're suggesting that white ownership doesn't matter because we have the option to decide who we want to listen to or support.
you're once again missing the point satan.
There's no Black ownership which means that white people are in the position to control the narrative of Black music, if White execs don't want your album to release, they'll shelve your project.
I would love to see that, bet he was dropping jewels.

You'd have to go waaaaay back to the early 80's to find a period of time where hip-hop music was predominately owned, controlled and distributed by blacks. From the Run-DMC/LLCool J era on up, hip-hop has been pretty much entirely white-owned. And even in the early-80's, labels like Sugar Hill Records, which was black owned, and produced the 1st rap songs/albums to chart on billboard, they had a white-owned parent distributor. So basically, hip-hop's ENTIRE history has been controlled by whites.
