One little fact that many right wing evangelicals and pro Israeli politicians will let you know. There was plenty of Palestinian Christians who were members of the PLO. I have read stories of IDF forces destroying Palestinian Christian homes that the world simple brush over. For some reason. These evangelicals love to talk Christians in the mideast except the Palestinians.
There’s going to be protests and the Palestinians are a people who are so disillusioned that this will light a fire under them.
At the same time, I think people are overestimating the response. Doubt there’s going to be terrorist attacks.

And it doesn't exist anymore. Just like @FAH1223 said America will be a shell of itself. All 500 of those military bases will be closed because domestic financial strains will drain the treasury. America will go through what the Soviet Union went through in the 80's and 90s. High crime,mass corruption,cuts in social safety nets,mass poverty and political violence. Whites will be radicalized and hopefully black people as well. America will be like a Latin American nation except with 700 million guns. 
Meanwhile there is no power that will fill America's shoes. So the world will be a multipolar world in chaos just like before World War 2. I always felt America's fall will be just like it's rise. Fast and explosive.
