Cool suggestions... Don't you have any other race relation threads to derail with mindless keystrokes...Dude, just go watch Fantastic Four, that's more your speed.

Was unaware differing view point counted as derailment.
Don't be sully that you couldn't grasp why that scene in particular is so powerful.

An insecure, abused by a white man who told her she was nothing but a piece of ass, all while being an accessory to a murder is an upgradeI'm glad a black women has been given the opportunity to play such a diverse and interesting character instead of a ghetto rachet or some other stereotype of black women

Differing opinion
Rather than refute anything you opted to make a childish, dismissive comment suggesting to watch a comic book movie![]()
Is this hypothetical white charachacter dehumanized at timesdo you have these same complaints when white women played flawed characters.

You couldn't be more pitiful if you tried
Thanx 4 a concise response this go aroundWell this may shock you: that's kinda why people find themselves glued to that show in particular. The fact that a character has this many issues afflicting her person but can still take the day head on, only later to collapse in self-pity, relishing in a obvious decayed marriage and defeat is relatable to people, if not stirs one's curiosity.

Never seen the Wire other than scattered episodes, never thought anything of it... More red herring dismissive assumptions are welcome thoughThese type of threads are hilarious because you just know its only because its a Black woman getting praise that it is getting this scrutiny. The same poster who stretched himself to point out every "negative" probably thinks The Wire is one of the greatest shows of all time. And I use negative very loosely, being as how HTGAWM is a drama series, so its gonna have flawed characters.
