So just to let you know, I'm not spazzing on you, but this is the shyt that gets us outer borough cats HEATED.

Like whenever you read buzz feed article, or just some shyt from a white person in or out of NY, the shyt is ALWAYS focused on Manhattan. It's like:

"You exposed yourself by calling Manhattan Manhattan. We call it the city."
"Do you realize 4 other boroughs exist? And no downtown Brooklyn is not the only part you can visit"

Bashment parties. That's a Caribbean thing. Pretty much everyone that grew up and partied in Brooklyn, and the cats I chilled with in Jamaica/Rosedale Queens were up on it. This is why for me house parties>>>>>>>>>clubs.

Took me so long to adjust to the club scene. I think that's why I rather do bars now instead of clubs. At least bars can have that home kind of feel. Especially having grown up in basement parties set up like bars.

Most surprising of all is how friendly people have been. I expected people to be rude and on they own thing I guess its just a NY stigma, but most of the the brehs I met have been cool and willing to hang out/ show me around
