My boy went to NYC visited Harlem a few yrs ago, had some fam that lived there. Got back to cali and was like
nikkaz here think they ghetto?them harlem nikkaz was outside at 4 in the morning hanging out like it was day time, dogs barking all night, girls bout to fight yellin half the night, i didnt even get no sleep
I got the opposite,because I noticed not to many people outside like they would be in ATL or Liberty City,Miami or Oak Cliff Texas ,it could be the gentrification. But visited Harlem ,Queens and,BKtoo , I saw hella white people walking about and the streets were hella quiet by 11pm.
True indeed man. Anytime I'm outta town people are amazed at how I'm able to talk to different ethnicities and relate to them like it's nothing. Other places got that fake diversity where nobody ever talks to each other. In NY you have to, even if don't want to.

Naw bro, I noticed some of the Arabs acting like nikkas maybe because their in the hood all day , but I noticed all the ethnicities in NY like Jamaica, and with all the people of different backgrounds people would be walking by each other and sticking to their own. Its said NYC does have diversity but many areas are segregated..I don't know whats fake about the diversity in other cities but you in other places like LA ,Miami or DC you would see Asians,Latinos,Arabs,and Indians interacting with each other and are more immersed in American culture.
Most of them "arabs" are guyanese and/or trini and would smack hot fiya out ya ass if you approached them sideways

The best Dominican food is in Uptown Manhattan. If you want some banging mofongo which is really like a plantain bowl seasoned with garlic with fried pork with stew on top hit up La Casa Del Mofongo on St. Nick's in the Heights. The food is great, the service not so much. I haven't been there in a minute, expect to see nothing but Dominican mamis up there too.
I just hit up my dominican homie and asked him about this shyt. He lives down south now. Dude was like "hell yeah I was just at that spot last Saturday! Banging ass food homie..and the bytches that be walking in there keep you hungry for more. We can grab lunch there NYE if you want, but no way I'm there come sun down. I never even met a Guyanese person till I came here. Nikka had to look on a map. And the arabs is from there too, I aint even know South America had a arab populous.
