Wherever whores go.....
A independent shop which I held regard (not so much anymore) wanted to charge me 7K in repairs for my 335i
Just engine leaks alone and a check engine light fix

I paid $800 for the check engine light fix and went a local dealer.
Got dikked over in fees but my gave me a great trade in price especially considering it had quite a lot of repairs needed. :manny:

Meet my new baby

Quattro AWD :blessed:
only 39K miles :wow:
Leather seats :noah:

How much breh breh? What year is that?

Are Audi's worth getting, considering repair costs would be through the roof :patrice:?

Problem 1: They make tools to reset the light for a lot less. I bought one for my 88 BMW years ago. It was simple to use. http://www.peakeresearch.com/
Peake research makes a tool that can scan engine codes and reset check engine light for BMWs.

Problem 2: Trade-in. You just got reamed, no matter what.

Resetting the light won't fix the actual problem :skip:

I know the condition of my own car. I would been happy with 9k trade in or just out right selling it for that much :skip:

So what did you get for $800?
What were the problems noted for a $7,000 repair job? How many miles did you have on your 335i?

You left the BMW family :mjcry:

Sounds like you had a 335i without a warranty which isn't a fun position to be in. So i'll agree you've moved on to greener pastures. Congrats :blessed:
