Say man, what made you go with lg as opposed to Samsung? I'm in the market for a 3d tv and I was leaning toward Samsung, but that's only because that's the only one I've actually seen at best buy ( and it was love at first site).

nah its mostly the bad rap they got from all the low end phones they used to release. They are slowly changing their image tho and since I know you like webOS you should be on the lookout for what they are trying to do with the televisions and android phones.

Just doing mad research..checking out reviews...this model happened to have good reviews. I also loved the design of the TV. As far as the price range it rated higher than the Samsung's I've seen in the same price range.

I would just find your price range and check out sites like CNET or amazon user reviews. Also check out a lot of HDTV forums and see what users are saying.

Love the newest lg series TVs though.
