Not read clocks?? I didn't learn about writing checks until junior high to highschoolMy cursive is immaculate cause I took pride in my handwriting (my OCD)
On another note kids are also not taught how to write checks or read clocks anymore
My son is in the first grade and he did a lesson on reading the clock a few weeks ago. Now he looks at the clock on the wall and can tell time right away. So it’s not done way with everywhere. My cursive is immaculate cause I took pride in my handwriting (my OCD)

It shocked me when I heard it but I understood because of the digital age. I learned about writing checks in the 4th grade, I was in a gifted and talented program and the math teacher taught us how to write checks and balance a checkbook (we also learned about the stock market)Not read clocks??
