was he black balled?
I think he found his niche/lane plus developed core fan base and made some great records

Mega deserves his props
He blackballed himself...

And that was over a decade ago. Those albums came out after and the first 2 are classic to me.

Cormega used to be a very emotional dude he burnt his own bridges back then.

His first three albums are borderline classics, you could argue that each one is a classic, particularly 'The Realness'.

He kinda fell off pretty hard after that - 'Legal Hustle' was very :ld:. Producers weren't as good and his flow/delivery seemed lazier.

i loved the beats on legal hustle but he shoulda made it a solo.. donna sucked.. i solo edited alot of those songs and its a way better listen like that

That's my NY dude. Him and Jay produced the only classic albums from that sorry state.

The Realness takes me back to my freshman year of college. Used to ride the train listening to that and Usher's 8701 all day. :banderas:

Two of my favorite albums, but the edge is slightly with 'The True Meaning', it's a little more evolved content wise, and the beats just have that timeless, summertime feel…I played that all summer in 2002. They are like winter and summer albums to me. And 'Legal Hustle' is a personal classic to me, in some ways better then both albums. Mega showed the most range and depth on that album, as well as the ability to oversee and exec produce an album.
