I fuccs wit' Mega, and I agree he should be large.

I always daydreamed that If I had some kinda seed money and drive,
I might round up a few artists and make a "Fucc Def Jam" mixtape.
It would have Mega, Smooth & Trigga, Mysonne, Jayo Felony, Westside Connection,
and a bunch of other heat...

Mega is dope to me but I can understand why he never blew. His flow is to subdued for the masses and he was on that drug dealer shyt but it was introspective as opposed to braggadocious. Most people like ignorant shyt and mega just wasn't that.

And I agree about the legal hustle album, those beats were dope, if that was a mega solo instead of a crew album he woulda had three straight classics.

Hell of a lot better than all the walk shyt that's been out the last 8 or 9 years

Once hot 97 stopped playing East coast artist 100% of the time and gave into the west coast and South crying about radio air time it was a wrap, NY hip hop died, little guys got no shine

imagine a beans, styles, cormega album... and fukk it throw in scarface!!!

:blessed::blessed::blessed::blessed::blessed:

I'd prefer Killa, Ghost, and Mase rapping about furs for 15 tracks.

But on topic, yeah the realness is probably my 2nd or 3rd favorite album ever.

'face my nikka but I'd replace him with AZ to have it on some straight East Coast shyt.

I remember when I discovered 'mega back in high school, one of the best emcees I ever heard it had me hoping him and Ras Kass would work together someday but of course Ras is a fukk up so that never happened. :ld:

nikka what? :banderas:

Goddamn....:damn:

:wow:

His first three albums are borderline classics, you could argue that each one is a classic, particularly 'The Realness'.

He kinda fell off pretty hard after that - 'Legal Hustle' was very :ld:. Producers weren't as good and his flow/delivery seemed lazier.
Co sizzle I wasn't feeling legal hustle like that but The Realness is fire

his problem wasn't being blackballed, it was falling the fukk off after the true meaning. don't get me wrong, i bumped the fukk out of the realness and the true meaning, but everything he released after that was rocking a flat top :flabbynsick: i was hyped as fukk about legal hustle, than i actually listend to the album and was :sadbron:
