In the weeks after it was all over, it was kinda awkward at work. Got a couple of side eyes because a few thought I was fukking a married woman but overall most thought I handled it well.
I just laid low and mind my business. A couple of friends who worked there teased me and made jokes about me almost getting shot and saying I should've slept with her since I went thru all that shyt.
The day she resigned which was on a Monday, I did receive an email from the wife. At first I deleted it but then I got it out of the recycle bin and read it, then I forwarded for HR just in case something happens in the future. In the email, she was basically showing contrition in the email and took responsibility for it.
I know where she is working now but I don't have any contact with her. I still have my head on a swivel because her husband is deranged and I don't know if he will come back for me but I'm ready now but he may be into guerrilla warfare.
Again I tried to deescalate the situation to sit down to have coffee with the brotha but he was too enraged causing a scene. But nikkaz don't want coffee when they think someone is fukking their wife. I understand but in the moment that's all I could think of other than getting shot. Looking back I guess him looking at my name, he probably thought I was a woman, until he saw my pic in her text message log and that's when he came to the hospital.
I'm glad I was able to survive that situation to learn my lesson even though I thought it was innocent at the time.

Broski for the love of god and sake of your life. Don’t be texting married woman. Keep whatever relationship need to exist professional and in the work place. You came too close to someone ending your life over some dumb shyt that wasn’t even what they thought it was.

From experience the moment my girl shows even the slightest interest in a breh then I know its practically over, just a matter of time..these dudes are forcing unhappy women to remain. Its been a few times I call a woman and her man answers.

There are genuine people who seriously concern themselves with the mental and emotional stability of the person they love
And there are narcissistic people who gaslight and do things purposely to trigger the negative responses from their significant other then sit back with their hands up saying look at this crazy person. It's manipulation and deceit and unfortunately it's a lot of women who get a ego boost by driving their men crazy and then telling others their men are crazy. They equate that crazy to a value for themselves. A woman tells another woman her man crazy to gain sympathy, she tells other men he crazy to gain protection and admiration as in her head it reads I'm so great I drive this man crazy.
Alot of these things could be avoided if people wouldn't play that game and consider the feelings of their significant other. Don't play around with jealousy and insecurities because that is a major factor in people ending up hurt and even dead.
