Marriage is a business and your partner is the CEO. Choose a good executive and your company will flourish and post record setting consecutive quarters of positive earnings and profits. Choose a bad one and end up with negative press and running the ship in the ground. Either way, failure or success, it begins with YOU. Where you went to “school”, what your ethics and core values are and above all, your approach to handling adversity emotionally...

I always say that if a relationship fails and you weren’t the one that ended things, more often than not, it says a lot about you, more than the other person.

Take from it what you may...

The good brehs of PHI
Just a reminder that this is supposed to be a forum for black men to vent and talk shyt. Half of the stuff said is just trolling.

I mean, it's called The Locker Room for a reason. Sometimes the women in here annoy the hell out of me with their opinions like we asked for them but whatever.

The way I see it? Its pick your poison. You can be single and deal with all the BS; single chicks politicking, playing games, spending money, lying, calling this one, texting that one just to get to your next thrill.

Or... you can be married and deal with the day to day boredom that comes, kids, expenses and never ending demands.

I rarely meet a super happy single dude. But some play their cards right and they living good. I rarely meet a super happy married dude. But some play their cards right they living good.

Just pick a good woman, do your hw, communicate what you'd like and see where it goes. Much easier than running around trying to get a new chick every week.
