So if you make less than 40 dollars an hour, there's a good chance your job is in jeopardy.

Not necessarily because of this thread, but op is a moron and he makes me question the type of education St. Johns gives out.

Who the Fukk is you?

Edit: Noticed there was no response to my question. I guess we're going to hurl insults without any actual facts huh?

Can't articulate a thought I guess you have to resort to name calling :francis:

I guess the lower part of our education system speaks again. It's really a shame.:manny:

I said we need low cost fusion power soon in another thread recently and I was laughed at. This is why. Energy is the main resource that matters in the 21st century. With low cost energy a UBI makes sense. If we are dependent on fossil fuels deep into the 21st century as supplies dwindle and prices go up, this married with the natural increasing income inequality endemic to capitalism will lead to chaos. Businesses wont have anyone to buy their shyt. Families will not be able to make rent or pay the note. If people think things are bad now, just wait.

We have been through this before several times, and every single time technology has only created more opportunity and things for humans to do. The key now will be equipping people with the skills and opportunities to do new things.

I think what the article was highlighting is that robotics and automation are on course to take away more jobs than they create. That's the real problem here. The job loss ratio is going to be bigger than the job gains.

We didn't know what kind of jobs the industrial revolution or computers would create either....

I don't see technology creating many $40 hour jobs for the masses. :francis:
