I had a kinda-but-not-really similar thing happen to me: there's this cafe I go to every now and then with my laptop to work and there was this one loud old white guy talking with his friend about music...they were really loud but I didn't mind that much...so of course there saying how music back in their day was better and whatnot, why not...but then they start talking about Hip-Hop, so now I'm listening...and this guy starts saying it's a music for brats, hoodlums, so I'm ...then his friend sees me and kind of smiles to me like trying to defuse the tension...all the while I'm saying to myself "let it go"...and then the loud one says Hip-Hop is a music for "salvages" and I fukking lose it, get up in the middle of the cafe and start sonning that a$$hole asking him what he knows about hip-hop and why is he running his mouth about shyt he don't know and insulting a whole culture. I'm out there talking about different styles, lyricism and shyt. Man I was pissed. everybody in the cafe was looking at me and at him but I didn't give a fukk then he just shut up, got up and left.
