So I'm playing through FFX for the first time

i put like 160 hours into this game (still got the saved game on my PS2 memory card). It took me about 35-40 to beat the story. Then after that, I got all the celestial weapons,aeons...etc and did quests and played blitzball.

Kimahri's actually kinda ok if you put him through Tidus grid and make him an all-around cat who can fight all types of enemies, requires lots of effort though.

I'm not clear on how this grid stuff works, I thought that each person had their own grid how do you give some someone else's grid?
I'm at the point where I lost the blitz ball tourney, met up with auron, became a guardian and practiced laughing with yuna about 5 hours in.
My girls been watching me play (and hating) she's the one that insist tidus is wild mango tropical bc he "wears booty shorts" and has that earring

Its all the same giant grid, they just start each character in a different spot on the grid.. eventually you can make all your characters have the same abilities (if im remembering correctly)

They give u the option of doing the expert sphere grid in this one, where everyone starts in the middle in kimarhi's starting area

I get what you're saying but this game is like 13 years old. If i hadn't played a 13 year old game and was playing it for the first time i'd be avoiding any online discussion about it.
I mean have you seen the trailers on this thing. If you watched two or three of them you'd know all the plot twist of the game.

This one in particular blows the plot of the game wide open. This is official pre-release stuff from Square mind you.

I never beat a fukking final fantasy game before. I always have some weird shyt happen to prevent me from finishing them.
FFVII I didn't have the 3rd disc or something, then same thing with FFVIII. The disc for FFVIII was all scratched up so I couldn't progress and I never played FFIX.
I then restarted FFVII a few years later on the PSP and my PSP ended up breaking and FFX I played for about 6 hours and died at a boss and I had no memory card. I then restarted it a few years later on the PC through PCSX2 and lost my save file in the middle of the game and then FFXIII I stopped playing once you reached that open area where you had to keep grinding(which I hated.)

all the rest of them. 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13 i finished. i'd say its a tossup between 9 and 10 which one is the best.

It's pretty telling how no one even talks about FFXIII-3. It's almost as if it's not a real game.

i havent finished 10 yet but id say 9 is better just cause too many of 10's characters are annoying. although i guess it has more to do with the voice acting, which 9 didn't have
