your laughing at facts, homie. It's been explained and written about a thousand times over. But if you're secure in the idea that you know more about ancient society than those that study it for a living then by all means do you :troll:

That is Old Testament law that applied to people living under the days of the Old Testament. Today we live under the New Testament laws thanks to the ultimate sacrifice for the atonement of man and the covenant. Meaning God completely changed the way he dealt with man after the Old Testament, no more direct involvement or appearing to us. We messed that all up so God gave us another chance but now we had complete free will and a clean slate. That's literally what the whole crucifixion and resurrection was about, God sending his son to die for all the past sins and wrongs of the Old Testament and give man a fresh start. I mean Act 2:38 didn't even come about until after Jesus death. And that is currently the only known sure way to get to heaven is by following Acts 2:38.

The Old Testament is basically just a really detailed history book of the beginnings of man and his relationship with God. with some good wisdom thrown in there to live by i.e. Proverbs and such. So yea that Old Testament law aint got nothing to with man for a longgggg long time now.

I was trying to get you to explain your post, but it appears your post was nonsense and has no explanation.

No biggie.

unfortunately people don't actually read the bible. they just seem to go to church for the sense of community, to pay lip service and in a way to get forgiveness and some emotional support for some of the animalistic stuff they did in there younger years. if people actually read the bible from start to finish from a logical mindset then I believe that it would make ALOT more people irreligious:francis:. funnily enough, I only notice this in people who went no where in life or chased too much ass & not the pursuit of excellence in there life and blamed everyone and everything except themselves for there current misfortune. then end up turning to religion for answers:yeshrug:. dont really see this amongst career people or people with there life and finances in order. dont know if this is a coincidence or not.

Slaves weren't forcibly converted, though. That's a lie. Undoubtedly some were, but the overwhelming majority of slaves came to Christianity voluntarily by reading the text for themselves.

Omg you're hilarious. :dead:

Me myself I learned you better attacking your own family member before questioning the bible.
I swear nikkas get upset about that more than anything.

Attacking anything without knowing what you're talking about engenders that response. There's absolutely nothing wrong with questioning the text.

the unchained memories documentary on hbo based on the slave narratives at the library of congress killed any possibility of me accepting christianity as an adult.

oh and islam isn't any better, so don't go running to that as your alternative savior. run far away from both, your life will be better and more fulfilling.
