So is Curry a complete failure because he lost in the first round?

WHat a TURRRRRRRIBLE thread. Like Curry didn't lead them farther just last season. And the Warriors get shyt on like crazy. There are like two platnium threads dissing Iguodala alone on here.

Lol good a dumb thread. Curry is basically everything on that team. Bogut is never healthy. A.I is overrated in all aspects. David Lee is a white Boozer. Thompson Is good but disappears for whole games at a time. Bench has been ass for a min. To compare him to Paul or harden is unfair at this stage. Paul has been on stacked teams and failed. Harden is supposedly the best SG in the league but has not shown up the past 3 post seasons

Except that Harden is 24 and already took a team to the finals. Curry is 26 and hasn't done that. Neither has say..a two time mvp like Nash. Sounds like Harden will win more than 2 mvp's in due time.:sas2:

Also, Harden played better than Curry in their respective final elimination games..
Even in the games he played bad in this series, he was still clutch in most of them. That last game didn't even need for him to be clutch as they found other ways to score already, they just lost it on (lack of) defense.

Curry can't be the best player on the team. That goes for every star PG on a team; they can't be your best player if you want to win rings. Dominate wings/front court players make a bigger impact. You clowns being eating up that media narrative of putting it all on just one player. It's fukking dumb.

I said took playboy. But Harden led them in that quarter no?

Took implies he was the one doing the leading. All I see is ONE game where he stepped it up in the 4th quarter as a third/fourth option. As respective #1s, Curry has played better than him in both these playoffs and last season's playoffs.

The only taking that Harden has done in the post-season, is to two first round exits in a row.

And this is just a blatant lie, sounds like you've been taking notes from @GoddamnyamanProf.

It was the deciding quarter of a crucial game 5 against the most winning team in the NBA in the last 20 years. If he hadn´t stepped up, there´s no guarantee OKC makes it to the final. Of course Durant and Westbrook were still more important overall. But you can´t say Harden hasn´t done anything the last 3 playoffs when he did something like that. Most players never have such an important performance in their entire career. He´s already done it.

As for Curry playing better than Harden: that's just bias for the likable Curry. I mean, I like both Curry and Harden. Two of the best of their generation. And yes, Harden has chucked up a lot of shots this series and missed a lot of them plus his defense is awful as usual (although the last two games he actually played a bit of D) and Curry hasn't played terrible these playoffs. But Curry isn't really all that much better on the defensive end first of all. They're both just not any good at it really.

But second, and more importantly, Harden has averaged more points, more rebounds, more steals, more blocks, less turnovers, a higher FT%, has scored more clutch points and has a higher plus/minus. All on virtually the same amount of minutes. Curry only has the higher fg and 3p% and assists. Y'all letting your hate for Harden cloud your judgment. He has disappointed sure but he still has been very important to his team.

I've mentioned this before. Fg% is important but it depends on the context. It's very much overrated these days, especially on this board.

And this is just a blatant lie, sounds like you've been taking notes from @GoddamnyamanProf.

Nope. NBA Stats - Player Clutch
Only Durant, Lillard and Howard have scored more overall clutch points so far. Notice how Howard and Harden are on the same team. If the Rockets couldn't have relied on Howard, Harden would prolly have even more clutch points.

Nah, but Marc Jackson is. :mjlol: at Harden stans deflecting instead of addressing his obvious shortcomings
