So is Curry a complete failure because he lost in the first round?

You go look at the numbers from where they've been #1 options in the playoffs (12/13 & 13/14) and their success in those games and come back to me.

Stars are made in the playoffs. We saw how ineffective he was once his card was pulled.

The context of Harden's #s were put into perspective once those whistles were put away and regular season-type defense was no where to be seen.

I just did that for the 13/14 season. You seem to have missed how those better numbers Harden put up compared to Curry were for this year's playoffs..

No, like I said, that shyt was a blatant lie - he wasn't clutch. Lets look at what the numbers REALLY say -

Shooting 22% in the clutch, 10% from the 3, I could divide, that's one every... ah who gives a fukk, that shyt was garbage.

Again, FG% doesn't mean what you think it does, especially with as few shots as that in the final minutes. In the clutch you just need any point you can get. Those numbers show Harden got them those points. It helps if you watch the games too..

Harden didn't put up better numbers than Curry in the playoffs last season. Can you not see I put 12/13 in brackets?

So all this time I've been wrong thinking FG% doesn't mean field goal percentage...... :ohhh::ohhh::ohhh:

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

No, those numbers show that Harden isn't clutch. 22% in the last 5 minutes is not clutch. Where's your brain at?

:why: Can you not see you put the 13/14 season in brackets as well and that I clearly addressed those?

:what:

Curry put up better numbers in this post-season and in the post-season last year.... what's so hard to understand?

And please tell me how you disregard FG% in pretty much all your points you've made in here? You can't be regarded as being clutch, if you only make 1 shot out of four to five baskets in the last 5 minutes of the game. That's nonsense talking.

But second, and more importantly, Harden has averaged more points, more rebounds, more steals, more blocks, less turnovers, a higher FT%, has scored more clutch points and has a higher plus/minus. All on virtually the same amount of minutes. Curry only has the higher fg and 3p% and assists. Y'all letting your hate for Harden cloud your judgment. He has disappointed sure but he still has been very important to his team.

I've mentioned this before. Fg% is important but it depends on the context. It's very much overrated these days, especially on this board.

One example of context being that Harden plays with Howard and Asik, two of the best rebounders in the league. You can afford to miss a few more shots here and there if you have a good chance of getting it back.
