I was playing Nicki around my boyfriend two weeks ago and the next week I came over and he was playing Young Ma’s newest mixtape.

I knew he was trying to put me on to a female rapper he likes but I don’t get the appeal. She doesn’t make music for women and she isn’t better than the average male rapper. :yeshrug:

She‘s been doing that since she came out. :dwillhuh:

False. This is from a 2016 Rolling Stone interview

Young M.A: "Ooouuu" Star on Why She Turned Down 'Empire' Role

RedLyfe is your management company, correct?

YOUNG M.A.: Yeah, it’s my team. It’s my team that I came in with a couple of years ago.

In “Brooklyn (Chiraq Freestyle),” you talk about how people have misinterpreted RedLyfe as a Bloods crew.

YOUNG MA: So I just try to be clearing that up as much as possible in interviews. People will say we’re gang members just by looking at us. I just be trying to clear the air every chance I get to let people know that we’re in a whole different mindstate now. When we came up with the actual movement, it was never anticipated to be some type of gang. It was always initiated to be a movement for music, and also for a spiritual movement, because we believe in God, and we always put God first, no matter what we do
. I guess if we was just “The Lyfe,” they wouldn’t think that. But since we put the word “red” in it, they took that and ran with it.

I guess it depends on what “average” means. If Young MA and Big Sean were to use the exact producers and have the same songs, I’d listen to Young MA easily :manny:

I don't listen to thot rap either.

I just feel weird listening to a chick with a p*ssy pretend to be a dude.

Imagine how fukked up these young girls that consume this shyt heavy.

We were kinda making the same point. That thot rap ain’t no better. But in my point, I was saying dyke rap is slightly about thot rap. I can listen and envision a bytch deep throating me like Young MA raps. I can never envision me tricking off on a thot bytch who also rapping bout fukking 30 nikkas.

No matter what she says it was obvious she was repping blood back then as well

1. What person tryna get on is gonna go to Rolling Stone shouting blood this blood that lol

2. She was saying her management company specifically isnt associated with any of that and that they're in a diff mindstate now, as in, they were wit da shyts before

Nowhere in there did she explicitly say "I'm not a blood, never been a blood, nor will I ever be a blood"

Do you nikkas read? :gucci:
