no suspense at all, shyt was just poppin up. it was like you were being shown/told what was happening, but there was no real connection to what was occurring. i did like the main female lead and now feel something for her bc of what happens to her in the film, but that is all. for instance, something WORLD-CHANGING occurs like halfway through, and they just give it lip service, when there should have been absolute chaos. the movie just glosses over things that should be causing a great amount of psychic and even physical turmoil. personally, i felt bored mostly and a couple of times was engrossed. i think many people if not most of them liked it though.

It's a thriller, not a horror movie

Not as good as Get Out, but I think thats a top 5 film so that's no slight. I thought it was very good, 8.5-9/10, definitely the kinda movie you want to see a team least twice.

It's a movie that rewards thought and a serious viewing more than a blunt one, and you get more out of it the more thought and discussion you put in especially after it's over.

Yeah. To avoid spoilers. At least two people shouldn't have been they way they were in the intense situations.

that kinda took me out of the film in the middle part of the movie. But those first 10 minutes were amazing he played with the suspense too much.

It’s a throwback to some Twilight Zone type shyt. Where the horrifying thoughts of what’s happening on the screen is supposed to scare you. Some movies do that well. This wasn’t one of them.
