Born and raised in Richmond. Still here. I didn't refer to black presence as I am in the Capitol city surrounded by c00ns. There's plenty of black people. But who is the Capitol of the confederacy for? FAT OLD WHITE PEOPLE. Feel free to come ride down monument ave (filled with statues of confederate war heros) or ride down Jefferson Davis Highway (named after the confederacy president) and then tell me all about how Virginia is for blacks.

It used to be crazy out there. My friend got killed in that IHOP parking lot by a stray. The shooter got out on bail a few weeks later...then got into a shootout with Norfolk PD in the Military Circle parking lot. He got 57 years for killing Cam...and another 63 for the police shooting.

I was out there that night across the street at the bank some young boys got into it and ended up shooting and hit dude across the street at the ihop random as hell R.I.P man that shyt was tough to hear. OP don't go out at night out there especially if you black its a commonwealth breh they make up laws please don't speed anywhere on 64 or 264. I hate that place man and like somebody said don't drink and drive period they have random checkpoints every weekend all over the 7 cities . The weed is trash the girls are they have "liquor/abc" stores that close at like 9pm or 6 on sundays I think. If you can avoid going then I wouldn't waste the time the beach is ok at best but the parking is gonna kill you smfh at the 7 cities

it's a small world. Cameron was a bright kid, excelled in school, planned on attending Del State, A&T or HU to study engineering. He was just at the wrong place at the wrong time...walking out of the IHOP door. I talked to him on AIM a few hours before it happened...shyt still fukks with me...RIP

Thinking about going this weekend...I've never been

If you want to go to the actual beach, it's nice. It's a mix of families, kids, young adults, middle-aged people and elderly. Lifeguards and cops all along the beach. It's not a trashy beach. So you're going there with your woman, it's good. It's not like you are going to South Beach. There's like 5% chance you'll see a female beach-goer with a hot body and a swimsuit to match.

Restaurants? I don't know. This probably sounds dumb but I like Plaza Azteca for Mexican food.
Signature food dish? None. There are plenty of BBQ places to find.
