You can only take gossiping about material bullshyt with your friends so far...and Joe took that shyt as far as he could...podcast was always trash to me, but he turned trash into millions so that's a win in my book...

I have never, ever liked "Media Joe" in any capacity. I was always happy that he maintained a presence with other stuff, but fukk the pod, the reality shows and everything else if that will somehow put him back into the booth.

Exposal of his negative personality traits are a lot less grating in rap form

Maybe as being the top podcast, but he's gonna eat off his faithful Patreon following so I don't think it will be over. The Pod suffers now because he seems so jaded by everything that has happened this year that he's scared to even talk about sh!t, all he does is bring up a topic and say he isn't talking about it or don't care and starts talking aboy female R&B sh!t and he does stumble across something good they just say we'll save it for Patreon. He should just make the main podcast once a week in my opinion
I was saying at the time of the breakup that everything that made the pod interesting had gone away and I could see it's popularity falling off. The pod had become trash for the last year with Rory and Mal because the tension in the friendship was coming through and Mal was all the way checked out. So that friends kicking it aspect had gone away. Then Joe and Rory became a lot more industry and trying to make moves so they became extremely safe in their opinions. The few times Joe said anything remotely controversial he'd get pressed and double back and clean it up and from that point on have nothing but positive things to say about the artists. Like somebody said Joe went from being against the industry to embodying everything he hated about it.

Add on there are only so many old stories that can be touched on to fill gaps in between content. Since he didn't really rock with Ish the way he did Mal there wasn't near the amount of stories and Ice seems like a nerd so wasn't there for a lot of Joe's crazy moments. So if judging impartially I just don't see what the appeal of the show is. Add on Joe's ego skyrocketing and it turned a lot of people off. I've seen many people claiming they had signed up for a Patreon for a certain length of time and as soon as that time is over they are out. So I'm curious how many new people have been signing up and how many have dropped it. Everything points to them losing a lot of people on Patreon too.

Word. It’s a wrap basically means is it over for their commercial appeal and time in the limelight.

It doesn’t mean will they be homeless tomorrow lol

I don’t see how podding once a week fixes this

Joe is podding like someone who is in a position to offer him a bag is actively listening and waiting to see if Joe offends them. shyts ridiculous at this point.

I'm speaking just from a quality and content perspective. He keeps claiming they want to get away from talking music, they hop off gossip topics real quick, and barely touch sports. I just don't know what they can talk about thats compelling to discuss for 2 hours twice a week.

Especially since when they do come across something good, they just say we gonna save that for Patreon. The Saturday pod just seems unnecessary at this point

Yes the six months before the fall out it was clear that the better days were behind them
We know know, that they were beefing behind the scenes. In retrospect People saying Mal had checked out were accurate. Rory was doing his best to keep up a good front
