Dame averaged 18ppg shooting sub-40% FG. And even with Dame laying an egg, the games were actually pretty close.

Act like people forgot Dame tried to recruit KD himself. Take off the self righteous cape you trying to give him. If he's as good as yall say he is and as he thinks he is, then KD going there wouldve created a superteam as well. A superteam Dame tried to build with his own hands. He tried to do the same thing Steph did with KD, he just failed at it. As usual.

Dame's had a few really notable series with two of them culminating in walk-off game winners to close them out. That's done a great job covering up all his playoff failures. He's had far more duds than great performances in the postseason.

The most egregious are the sweep to the Pels, the 2019 WCF and the second round series against GS in 2016. The first two are self-explanatory but 2016 gets wildly overlooked.

Steph was out the first two games of that series and Dame went 8-26 in game one and 8-20 in game two. When Steph came back in game four, Dame went 9-30 in an OT game and 7-24 in game five which was a four point loss. And that was after he stunk it up against the Clippers and they only won the series because Paul and Blake got hurt.

Every star player has some dud or lackluster performances in the postseason but those are outliers for them. Dame is the opposite: far more subpar performances than great ones.
