exactly, that's all it is. it's a easy check for him because he's one of the few rappers who can still put out an album and generate a lot of money from it. i'll say this much about jay z, he knows how to hustle and play the game. i respect his hustle because that brother knows how to make his money

I listened to this album like 3 times and then never listened to it again.

@Harry B what people like you don't realize is that we don't care how much it sold, or how critically acclaimed this album was received, or how much money it made. From an artistic and creative standpoint this is arguably IMO one of Jay's WORST albums.

i went back and listened to that album recently and i didn't like it as much i did when it first came out. it had it's moments but the black album stands as the last album by jay z that i liked
