So James Harden is the favorite to win MVP because he's averaging double digit assist?

I know they're not marquee players but they're not complete unknowns as well :jbhmm:
Needed a first name to recall them. Decent players but not enough to be mentioned as a strong supporting cast

Usually it goes to the best player on a 50+ win team. I don't think an MVP in the modern era has been on a team that has won less than 50 games.

Harden would be the best choice followed by Kawhi and LeBron by that criteria.

Westbrook should win by any other measure.

Eric Gordon def had some hype in his early Clippers days but both had a few injuries so I understand :manny:

Two man race between Leonard and harden...I'd vote kawhi, the spurs are the better team and the difference between their defensive impact is a big reason for it

This supposedly age-old idea that "you can't be an MVP unless your team wins 50 games" is crap.

He also got Mchale fired...led them to a 40 something win season...and a hilarious 1st round exit...

Now...was that the year he set the record for most turnovers in a season...or was that a different year :jbhmm:

:mjlol:

I mean I GET that it's a close MVP race down the stretch and people have their own favorites and such....but this idea that Harden is somehow "head and shoulders" above the rest of the candidates is silly.

I figured Harden was the favorite but the media has been pushing Kawhi hard the last few weeks and him winning that and DPOY would be a great story. Russy will be shafted in the end though he should be the winner in my eyes.

You sound pretty bitter bro. Act like Harden shouldn't already have a MVP award if it wasn't for the Curry slurping. I think Kawhi is the frontrunner after that Rockets-SA game and his last few weeks. But I've stated before I don't care if Harden wins the MVP I want the Chip. :birdman:
