So jay is the only rapper with 6 classics?

"Classic" as thrown around means nothing more than "album I like."

So anyone with a favorite rapper with at least six albums is going to respond listing all their albums and saying, "________ has (at least) 6 classics."

The term's been so overused and diluted that it's lost any meaning.

Vol. 1 is a personal classic for me. I think this was his prime, despite not being his best album if that makes sense.

American Gangster was just a great album with a lot of promotion.

Reasonable Doubt is a fake classic. As a (former) Jay stan; he told everyone it was classic...now it's classic

Now, ya'll throw it around so much to where it don't mean nothing.

Source fell off when they started giving 5 mics to albums most ppl don't know a song from. It starts meaning less when everything gets it.

RD is amazing, blueprint production is great but as I've grown a few songs have become corny, black album is great also but change clothes ruins the flow and vibe of it American Gangster was amazing but hello Brooklyn and blue magic ruin it.
