So Jerruh Jones thinks Deion Sanders would have shut down Megatron. Thoughts?

It's not just cornerbacks, its CBs AND safeties. You rarely see Calvin left alone on an island.
Oh, so thats how he has 2 games over 100 yards this year but would own the best corner ever? Because he'd have safety help?

I just dont get you dudes. It's already been pointed out to you how Calvin has been shut down by Revis and Tilman and you still want to be outrageous? :wtf:

Everyone arguing in Megatron's favor keeps ducking this point...so if this doesn't point to bias I don't know what else does. Deion did some shyt that made Revis and Tilman look meh. So if they can have success against Megatron, wtf do you think the goat is gonna do?

Prime is the best ever at his position and certainly would have contained Megatron. If you saw Prime play, you know that a lot of what he did was based on playing the quarterback. So often he would sucker the QB into throwing passes that he shouldn't, usually by giving the impression he was too far away from the receiver to defend the pass.

CJ was targeted 4 times that game secondly 2010 was nowhere near dudes prime. Furthermoe Stafford was hurt that game. His prime was last year and now. Now I'll give you Tillman but again Tillman can cover and tackle, Tillman is about as big as Michael Irvin, which reinforces my argument, the best way to slow down Megatron is with a physical corner with speed.

LOL at anyone thinking Megatron would give Prime that work...must be a lot of people in this thread who just started watching football since Calvin been in the league...Prime is the end all be all of a shutdown corner...

I see all these post about Megatron using his size and speed...but I seen Prime repeatedly stuff Hall of Fame receivers at the line of scrimmage...I seen the Andre Rison's, Jerry Rice's and Michael Irvin's of the world have to work just to get off the line of scrimmage from Prime...somehow this gets over looked in his game...I don't think people really realize how physical his brand of play was...you can't even do the stuff in the league prime used to do...I seen Prime just ride receivers smooth out of bounds before they ran 5 yards downfield for an entire half...

Prime also had unreal speed and agility...whatever Megatron is going to do against Prime he is not going to do it by beating him down field...I seen safeties catch Calvin in the open field...Prime was one of the fastest people to ever put on football pads...

Even funnier...if Prime was just covering him right now...he'd roast Calvin...cause Calvin has Doofus Stafford throwing him just jump balls most of the game, and prime is just going to be to fast and athletic to not be in position to get those...

The only reason why this is even debatable is cause of Calvin's size...cause however fast he is supposed to be he is not even in the same stratosphere as Dion was in his prime when it comes to speed...and Calvin route running is a joke...and I don't even know if that is because he is just not a good route runner or because Stafford pretty much just throws him lobs all day...but Dion would eat him alive cause of those sloppy routes...he'd be in and out of his cut breaking on a ball before Megatron even turned around...

Only player I can see maybe given Dion that work would be Randy...Cause Randy had track speed and when he was really into the game was a really good route runner...and even then the qb throwing to randy is gonna have to be Joe Montana or Brady or some other sure fire hall of famer...somebody who can throw a perfect pass every time...if Culpepper is the QB then Prime would own that matchup to...

Megatron is a very impressive receiver but people get to caught up in his Megatron nickname and highlights. I've seen him drop more than his fair share of passes...I seen Tillman just shut this nikka completely out before...and I can't remember a receiver who causes more picks by catching it, taking a funny spin and then the ball is flying out his hands into the air...dude is definitely a great receiver and either the best or second best right now ( behind or in front of Dez )...but his entire game is based on his height and his athleticism... if he was 6 "1" running routes like he does you'd be trading him for cap space on the newest madden game or picking him up off waivers when all your other receivers got hurt in your fantasy league...

This kids talking about some "ya'll just being nostalgic"....
Nostalgia has nothing to with it. We not arguing about Chris McAllister or Jason Sehorn's ability to cover Megatron, we talking about the GOAT CB. And I don't know how you can possibly think you have credibility arguing against people who actually watched Deion play and you haven't. But I know the young nikka mentality, no older person can tell you anything about anything in life because you have it all figured out
