At this point you're either
A) trolling
B) a moron
We don't know if her kids are starving. You're just assuming. Just because she is buying a purse doesn't mean she picked the purse over her kids. Stop it. You sound judgmental and ignorant. We don't know a thing about the girls money woes. We know she used tax money to buy something she wanted and the store said hmmm you're black and young you should have this, police check this one out.
Secondly, please shut the fukk up. So what, you're in finance. So that automatically gives you the right to judge people on how they are suppose to spend or save the money they worked for. It's not stated that she used her rent money or kids money for the purse. She is actually doing the smart thing and using just her tax money instead of her whole check to buy the damn purse. There is nothing wrong spending a little bit of money on something you like. Should we save more? Absolutely. But if buying a purse is something she wants to do because she earn it, let her rock. Jesus
Naw mayne, you're the ignorant one. For one, you stay criticizing Jay Z for whatever reasons. So you already don't like the man, any chance you get the shyt on him, you will. You seem the type that if he donated half his wealth, you'd be one to say "that's not enough, he needs to donate more!" SMH
You're right, we don't know about this woman's money woes. The same way we don't know about Jay Z's dealings with Barneys, yet you spare one & criticize the other. How hypocritical is that? On a business tip, Jay is probably weighing his options. His dealings with Barneys has the potential to help dozens of kids with furthering their education. If one has the chance to help out dozens over the plight of 2 cases, which would you choose? Most of ya'll have never been a position to make legit business decisions. Like Nas said, a caterpillar can't relate to what an eagle envisions.
According to the article, this woman is only 21, one child now with another on the way, a nursing student & worked at Home Depot. So unless she's getting government assistance, I'm pretty sure she's living check to check. I'm sure she is because nearly 80% of Americans are living check to check. She didn't "earn" that tax return money, she had a child & claimed them on her tax returns. You claim there's nothing wrong with spending a little bit of money, but $2500 on one purse? Do you have kids? If you did, would you want your kids' mom to spend that much on a purse with her tax return money? I'd highly doubt you would but then again I wouldn't be surprised.
