That's some hoe shyt by Jimbo. I agree with him but I wasn't his college coach. :comeon:

Jimbo's track record ain't looking too good. Although it's hard to blame him because JaMarcus, Ponder and EJ were all drafted way too fukkin high to begin with. :yeshrug:

Jameis lookin like the truth though. :myman:

Ponder was the first "good QB" since Weinke. He's also been overrated by FSU fans because of that fact.

He was very good his Junior season. Thats it.

He was exposed against Oklahoma.
Man that entire program got exposed that game. I was there. First time they got punched, they curled up. Stoops refusing to play press and having the corners play 10 yds off and OU bubble screening the hell out of us. Damn you for making me go back in my mental vault and remember that game. It was a very, VERY long walk back to the car

Football coaches are generally pieces of shyt, especially big program coaches. They get their job by having loyalty to all the other white dudes that they network with to climb that latter, while using the black kids as ponds. Im not on that coli militant tip but I saw it with my own eyes all the time, its crazy that these coaches can be with kids for 4 or 5 years and still sell them out like that, no loyalty.

Any one of us Noles fans could have told you EJ wasn't going to be a good starting QB in the NFL. I was shocked when he got taken as high as he did. Ponder was definitely better than him, particularly before his injury. Like someone else said, Ponder on the '12 team instead of garbage ass EJ and we go undefeated.

But I'm not buying this story, simply because it doesn't do anyone any good. Jimbo has a vested interest in his players, and ESPECIALLY his QB's, getting taken as early as possible because that's a huge recruiting tool that almost no other college recruiter has. He's produced 3 first round QB's in the last few years, about to be 4 with Winston, and I'm sure he's telling every single 5 star QB recruit that they could be the next one to do so.

Who does it benefit if Jimbo was telling people EJ is a 3rd round talent? The NFL teams? Great, what can do they for Jimbo in return that would make it worthwhile to be so transparent, even if he felt that way?

@mikefreemanNFL @rachelRACH10 my question is, did he say the same thing about Ponder?

:wow:

:ohhh:
EJ Manuel is not a starting NFL qb plain and simple. Bills reached for whatever reason even though everyone could see that Manuel wasn't that great of a college qb. Scouts rely on college coaches, especially from big schools, to give honest evaluations on players so I don't fault him at all.
Where did you get this BS from???

shyt Jimbo didn't even have to say shyt to GM's, all he had to do was send out the tape of the second half of the 2012 NC State game and that Florida game from that year

Seeing Jameis come in that next year and take virtually damn near the same team from 2012 to a national title told me a helluva lot about EJ Manuel

I agree, it doesnt make much sense as to why someone would do it. you dont go and talk shyt about your kids when hes applying to colleges...ok, maybe not the best analogy, but graduating qbs to 1st round in NFL is a big deal, why would you destroy your own meal ticket ? lol

nikka i said it before and ill say it again...EJ manuel is 6-5 240 and can articulate the fukk out of himself. When that nikka walks in the room and you hear him speak, he commands a presense. nikka duped the entire bills front office. Couldnt dupe me cuz I watch too much fsu ball
BINGO .

I heard him on NFL radio prior to the draft and was like :ohhh: :wow: :lawd:
"I want to draft him now!!!"

Dude is one of those knows how to work a room types.
