I could see this as the reason.

Racism still exists. But sports, especially the HCs in professional sports, is probably the last place it takes place in today's age:skip:

What makes you think many of us can't see it as the same reason? But when leaking info and publicly smearing, no doubt these coaches or white dudes in power know going in when talking about a black person that they're more likely to be believed.

That's no secret

Have you read the confidentiality tied to failing this type of drug test?

There's a reason why you're hearing about it NOW as opposed to 46 drug tests ago. Being captain obvious about Freeman's play doesn't change how wrong you are in regards to this drug test. This brand of failed drug testing is level 1 and is to remain confidential. THAT'S WHY it being leaked is controversial and the Bucs are in possible trouble. Do you not get that??? :dahell:

Controversial stuff about high profile athletes get leaked. it happens. I know now that Freeman was just taking attention medication, but the fact remains people suspect athletes of doping when they fail drug tests. Freeman wasn't subjected to any more scrutiny that I would expect. The guy immediately addressed the concerns. Is Freeman under more scrutiny in general than other QBs? Yes I believe so but that's because he put himself in the hot seat with his poor play.

Can you give me an example of level 1 testing being leaked that has the head of the NFLPA coming down to an organization which may result in losing a first round pick or hit with a $500k fine?

When?

That's nonsense. First, whenever a guy fails a drug test, there is controversy. I already suspect guys of doping when they fail. Brian Cushing doped. So did that caveman in Green Bay. Freeman is no different. Second, Freeman has gotten tons of chances to impress. He's had several seasons to improve and still throws bone-headed INTs. He's a NFL starter but not the guy Tampa needs. Some say Bradford is worse than Freeman and maybe he is but Bradford doesn't throw INTs so nobody really notices his mediocre play as much as Freeman's.
Nobody is saying give Freeman another chance, everybody is talking about how his drug test and medical history got released to the public. Freeman ain't gonna be there next year, what everybody is pissed at is that somebody down there released his records to the public. Records aren't usually released and reported on unless you're a multiple time offender and failed multiple test, not just one.

Freeman didn't fail a drug test though. He switched meds and volunteered to undergo testing.

Do you really think Schiano has no responsibility for how Freeman plays?

Exactly. Who is making him a savior? Dudes stay leaning on captain obvious thinking were debating the obvious

The Bucs have to see what they have in Glennon so nothing is lost in starting him over Freeman. They feel they've seen enough of Freeman to know what he is. Do I feel like Freeman should have gotten more chances? Sure but you can't play like absolute trash and expect to keep your job.
I get that, but with how they lost the 2 of the 4 games with the defense blowing the game in the last seconds and Glennon shytting the bed, they could easily be 3-1 and that's with shytty QB play, but in this league, the QB gets most of the praise when he shouldn't and they get most of the blame when they shouldn't.

I don't agree with that breh. I don't think these guys went it with the mindset that the public will more likely believe the smearing because Josh is black. I believe professional sports today is the last place where the color of someone's skin is a deciding factor in managerial decisions. I think winning and $$$ is the deciding factor.

Josh could be white and Schiano would be treating him like this. He's seems like a real a$$hole.

Josh is half white, so I doubt its race, but with how this world works and shyt is more fukked up, I wouldn't be surprised. I think it just boils down to Schiano's love affair with Glennon and wanting him to be his leader.
