Kanye was meh but the entire track was lackluster. A whole lot of rambling from both MC's about nothing. It's one of those tracks you throw on while cleaning your room. 
Kanye killed it... Why couldn't his previous album had been filled with verses like that?
Yes those 21 artists wrote bars for one of Kanye's top 3 worst songs.
They got in the booth together, 1 pen, 1 paper and gave it 21 goes

That was some hipster shyt to get people to talk about it.
His last album wasn't about verses, it was about the sound.
He was just being mad, uncontrolled screaming, unstructured schemes, overly vulgar lyrics all to compliment the crazy production. He could've done better lyrically but I don't think that it wouldn't have added much to the album. Just like Nas or someone wouldn't have made TM101 better than Jeezy with his hilarious punchlines and ad-libs.

Re-listen to Kendrick's verse, it's all about groupies in LA.
I think his verse had more of a topic and point to it than Kanye's.

Today solidifies that Kendrick has never had a memorable guest verse. I can't think of a single memorable bar dude has had on a song besides the one where he just names every other rapper
Drake floated on that shyt so nasty...and Kendrick's 3rd verse wasn't even that far behind....but that 1st verse was GARBAGE.
