Its a push basically lebron a great finisher around the rim especially in prime but so was kobe. Whole teams was worried about lebron size and strength kobe couldn't bully his way to the paint like lebron but that dont mean he didnt finish great in the paint. Lebron a so so free throw shooter shooter and dribbling ok kobe excelled in all those positions. Kobe passing ability severely underrated he was as willing a passer but kobe passing playmaking was great

No one said Kobe isn't a great finisher or passer. He's not as good as Lebron. Lebron's size fukking matters.

Kobe is a better ball-handler but Lebron is still elite too. Hell, Lebron shoots better than Kobe from three on the same amount of attempts.

Lebron is BETTER at those things. It's not a push my ass. Willingness to pass matters. Kobe has never had Lebron's vision, passing, and creativity when it comes to passing. You even trying to same it's similar is fukking moronic.

Lebron averaged more assists across his entire career than Kobe's best individual season.

Like @Rekkapryde said, Kobe has my heart. No Homo.

This is not LeBrons fault at all, but I kind of down play how great he is because of how physically dominant he was. Like I said, it's not his fault, but I feel like them super physical beast be having the cheat code. It's kind of unfair to criticize Bron for this because he's such a smart basketball player. It's not like the only thing he can do is impose his will.
That is the one argument that I feel is valid when it comes to Kobe vs LeBron. LeBron hit the genetic lottery and thats not debatable. A lot of what he does is amplified by the fact that he's 6'8 260 or whatever. If he was 6'5 220 like an average SG, what would he even be?

But while this argument can be used for pound for pound or true skill discussions, it has no place in arguments about who is better or more impactful.

"The eye test", you could ask a gay man which person infront of him looks better. Person A is a 6'3 hairy brolic Russian named Kustov, and Person B is a 5'9 perfectly proportioned East African woman with perfect teeth. That man is goin to say Kustov 10/10.

Point being, the eye test don't mean shyt if the eyes belong to someone who don't know shyt about basketball.
This is arguably the dumbest gayest and worst analysis or analogy a Kobe Stan has made

I don't know why people on this site still try to put Kobe in a discussion with Bron (or Jordan). Man is finishing somewhere around the top 10, that's good enough I WOULD THINK.

It's arguable that LeBron passed Kobe even before his last shot attempt went through the net in game 7 against the spurs. Four years straight in the finals after that and the greatest comeback in NBA history just after the team he beat pulled off the greatest comeback in NBA history just a round earlier? @Big Boss you know what to say in regards to this debate.

This was a legit opinion in like 2008.

Outside of just using lazy narratives, what exactly does Bron do better than Bean? And I'm being sincere. There's a huge difference between being talented and being skilled. Bron is talented. Bean is skilled. There's literally no nuance to Bron's game. I don't know how many times I've heard this past series, "IF Bron is gonna continue to shoot like that from three, he's unstoppable." And that right there, speaks volumes to his game and the lack of nuance in it. Could Bron win a series, let alone a title, playing with his back to the basket playing the high post? No.....but we've seen Bean do it. Can Bron win a series, let alone a title, playing off ball? No.....but we've seen Bean do it. If you write out all of Bron's best attributes on the floor and decide to take one of them away, would he still be the Bron you see today? I like Bron, but you're fooling yourself is you think Bron is as skilled as Bean is playing the game of basketball. I hate these "Player A vs Player B" convos because they lack context and nuance. Bron is definitely one of the most talented players I've ever seen, but his skill level is notcheS below his talent level is.
