I talked to this old dude today
Told me all this stuff about back in the day how companies used to look out for their employees
The people up top would take paycuts and such, told me about how people would keep things until it absolutely broke down

You don't have to give a young dude money or some item but just tell him some good shyt

If that is true, then the baby boomers and the CEOs fukked it all up for their own gain. :pacspit:

Every generation goes through this. THey hate the ones with more potential to change shyt.

I was gonna say blame the baby boomers. They are the most selfish generation and ruined a lot of the things mentioned in the OP

Damn bruh I feel you. :wow:

I got Melvin'd the other day by my stepfather about being a mama's boy on some Baby Boy headlock type of shyt.

He's a 6ft+ straight OG cat and been to jail before, use to gang bang, rob nikkas, do drugs, etc but cleaned himself up, went to church, got a job, car, etc. He didn't give a fukk I went college. We got into an argument for an hour but he hashed it out at the end of it, shook hands like grown ass men and I understood what he was talking about. He also saw where I was coming from about valuing education and knew why I valued my schoolwork so much.

He didn't care that I had my own money and shyt but he knew I relied on my moms too much emotionally/mentally and put her first for everything which was weak. He told me I was a good dude for staying out of trouble and taking my schoolwork seriously BUT he said I was still a boy to him. He said jail was the best thing that happened to him to get his shyt together and it helped him stop being a mama's boy and pushed him to get his own life outside of his mom's life. Shyt had me pissed at first and we were both loud as fukk but he was right tho the next day when I realized I needed to be my own man mentally/emotionally and pop the titty out of my mouth. He didn't say that shyt to me in a condescending, belittling way but a "you can do so much better than this shyt/don't be a simp because it will hurt you later down the road" tone.

I can see why so many older Americans are finding millennials to be a bit childish, immature, irresponsible and we're having problems where grown ass adults are showing up to interviews with their parents, not getting married, not buying homes and living with our parents well into our 20s and 30s while still living like teenagers.

It made me think differently about that other thread where the guy was still at his mama's crib with a Bently and 100K saved up at 30. That's some sucka shyt and no matter how much money he has, he's still technically a boy and no one truly, deeps down is gonna still respect a 30 year old cat who lived with his mom since he was 18 years old who never really lived his own life outside of his mom's house.

It irritates me when they complain about the current generation and I'm thinking "Who was responsible for that?"

Breh, peep this.

You know the jew who made Fritz the cat and later made c00nskin? He kinda adds some insight to what was going on in the "good ol day". Post-Civil Rights Black America specifically.

Metro: That's right, he kept it a secret, though. So that's why he's referred to in the film.

Bakshi: The deal with the story of Malcolm the cockroach who leaves the woman who's been taking care of him is based on personal experiences of black men I knew who couldn't afford to feed their families, so they left because they couldn't stand to see them suffer.

:yeshrug: I wouldn't be surprised if there was similar shyt like this poppin off in the day...

From what I've seen.

They'd rather talk mad shyt about us and how we are doing everything wrong than offering any kind of help or guidance.

I mean really, how often do you somebody talk shyt about the current generation? How many of them do think are trying to help them or put them on the right path?
