It doesn't hurt Daigo's image whatsoever. Those who know Street Fighter know he sandbagged. This was a publicity stunt. Daigo was paid to fly out to San Francisco. I'm sure Lupe was paid as well. What this did was get more people talking about Street Fighter, which is what Capcom and Mad Catz wanted out of it.
