How did it go breh?

I'm an otr trucker right now, but I have an opportunity to make 2k a week in Phoenix, I'll be home every night and get 2 days off a week.:blessed:

I've actually been a few times but I know living and visiting are two different animals.

The women out there.:wow: It was like I was Diddy or somebody with the amount of cooperation I got.
Amazing. I moved to dallas for a family emergency but phoenix is nice. The economy is booming and you can always stay pawg'ed up there. If you're going to be making that much I suggest you look into paradise valley or the arcadia area for places to stay. South tempe and chandler as well

There ARE black people in the phoenix area, its a matter of networking. As long as you can get along with hector youll be fine. its also cheap as hell. Idk who told you otherwise.
our kind stay around broadway blvd down by central. I stayed there for 4 years off of bell rd on the west side. nice place, seemed like a mini LA to me.

Scottsdale is one of the most expensive places to live in the country. Phoenix is liberal compared to the surrounding areas, but don't expect to get treated well by the law enforcement there. Read up on Sherrif Joe Arpaio, and I would not be trying to move ANYWHERE where it's legal for the cops to stop me and ask me for my papers and throw me in jails of 3rd world conditions

They got a good art scene and some cheap housing in some sections, but majority of blacks live in poor areas along with the Latinos and the Indians. (Arizona got a big native peoples population) And you know what they do in these neighborhoods, they build their fukking plants and asphalt factories and dump their chemicals and shyt in the water and blow smoke there. The black hood in Phoenix is one of the most prevalent CANCER CLUSTERS in the country because they let their companies dump shyt all over the black people.

It is incredibly racist, and i love my people but i would not live in a hood where I could get cancer if I was coming to that community. You are better off moving into one of the growing artist hippy districts, but be prepared to have police on your ass. It is entirely legal for the sherrif to just order police cars parked outside your door and even if it isn't, they aren't going to throw him in the bushes.

Source: i used to do some managerial consulting for a legal defense fund out of Arizona. The racism there is the real deal.

My Grandmother & Grandfather used to live off 19th Ave & Broadway.......They both died of colon cancer.

I remember going to visit them in the summer and I hated it.There was some kind of waste management/chemical manufacturing place right there in the neighborhood. You could smell the chemicals in the air.Damn near taste it:scust:

My grandpa had a buddy who lived directly across the street....he died from colon cancer, to:mjcry:

Need to get Erin Brockovich out there

PHX is a city in sure you want to move to a suburb. Look into Goodyear, Litchfield Park, Chandler amongst many.

I don't live there yet but visit often and will be moving in 2 yrs.

Enough black people to form a nice social circle and there are a lot of people getting money. There is everything to do in that area except go to the beach but you can drive to the Pacific Ocean!

When I get out there I will be having networking events and BBq,s.

Making 60k in PHX is good enough to love very comfortable if you can budget and not try and floss.

Look fam.. i been out here 6 years. here are some pros and cons, since im from the east coast

Pro's
-its inexpensive to live out here... im renting a 2200 sq ft home for 1000/mo
-if you got a lil bit of style/fly to you.. they ladies WILL dig you... since its a small black population, you fresh meat nikka... your name dont pop up in circles... i feasted good when i was on my player shyt
-use these mexicans to your advantage, the dudes is resourceful.. i got a landscaper and mechanic for the low..
- the winter only gets AT WORSE down to about 50 degrees... i dont recall wearing anything more than a hoody last winter, there was one where a nikka did have to break out the heavy coat... wanna say like 2011
- If you a family man like I am now then this is a good place... its a big city that doesnt feel like one... So say for instance you a nikka from the A of NYC or DC, you might feel like you missing something out there in them streets (nightlife, hoes, etc) you not.. so you can focus on holding your household down
-Nightlife is ok... Scottsdale got a few spots , Red Revolver, INTL, The MInt... the name of these spots keep changing over time but they all in one location.. we got two strip clubs that pop Pink Rhino and Jaguars...MIll Ave where all the ASU students hang...
- there are a lot of good resturants out here

CONS
this is a gift and a curse when i say this but
-THE LACK OF BLACK PEOPLE
we in certain areas, mainly South Phoenix, Laveen and East Phoenix, so its easy to network but EVERYBODY knows EVERYBODY so if you keep your moves/biz on hush cause people talk so with that being said.... there is a big lack of culture out here... no real park events/conventions (AFRAM things like that). they got a Junetenth festval but it dont pop like that no more i only go to certain places (like everywhere else lol) sparingly.
i stay THEEEEE FUKKKKK out of Scottsdale and Mesa (cops be on ya helmet, youre spidey sense should tingle if you in a funny area)

-everything is spread out.. Look fam, you need a car to live out here... there is no subway...buses aint shyt... and the light rail is a work in progress. YOU NEED A CAR to survive... i got mine impounded for 30 days and it seemed like an eternity
-Get used to it but you are a MINORITY for real... you be in some areas and every store is damn near written in spanish...mainly west PHX... all these suburbs... CACSBORO... Tempe. Scottsdale Gilbert (listen to the name) Peoria Goodyear did I say Scottsdale? ALL CAC ALL THE TIME...
- this summertime heat is a bytch....and it lasts well into october... you see a lot of cars with fukked up paint over this.
