I dont watch him. Why do you think he should be pushed so hard?
Because I feel like (especially in AEW) he was exactly what they need. Solid promo guy who can be a face or heel seemlessly who works a safe style. AEW was actually the perfect spot for him as he is going to look SMALL on the main roster and considering how Carmelo is doing there, I dont have high hopes of HHH using him correctly.

Also he should be pushed because he is black. And im not sorry feeling that :yeshrug:

Didn't he getting heat with the Edge promo stuff and Tony put him on ice. Then, when Tony got back around to wanting to book Ricky... It was around time to do his extension and it was one of Tony "Sign an extension or lock you out and add injury time to your contract?"

I mean thats cool but I hope this doesnt wind up being his ceiling. He deserves way more than Tony and TKO have given him so far.
Look at this sad shyt. :dead:

There is no way to spin Ricky in AEW.

He was one of their #1 homegrown guys and being pushed to the moon - AND THEN HE DECIDED TO LEAVE.

The WWE wanted him specifically because he was on TV getting put over by Punk and Danielson and turning into a major star.

Look at how y'all need to tip-toe around everything he hasn't been since he left so many don't dig up "Tony fumbled" narratives.

None of the guys who went back made a good decisions. Not because AEW is doing particularly well or anything - but because AEW is doing okay, and is a platform that still genuinely wants for star power. Everyone who went back took a personal step backwards even if they joined the bigger product.

It was always more about the WWE subtracting from AEW than it was adding to their product.

The WWE doesn't "NEED" anyone, and they also clearly want to pay people as little as possible. Andrade, Starks, Jade, Miro all played themselves thinking they were getting that Cody treatment

Aside from Penta - going to a company where what he isn't in the ring doesn't hurt him and what he is as a character counts for more has been a huge upgrade.

Also at the time - Jade I understand. AEW women's division was looking horrible and aimless when she left. Her leaving was a big part of AEW women's stuff being improved imo.

Why you think WWE is trying to directly compete against AEW all of a sudden? It has zero to do with brand superiority and everything to do with trying to create a monopoly on worker's pay. Before AEW, WWE guys topped out a like 3-5 Milly. Now... Guys are making crazy money at 7 digits.

So, WWE is going to sandbag AEW into submission and just see how much Daddy Khan is going bankroll his son's hobby. So, they are going to try and I don't know how long WWE will sandbag AEW. So, I'm trying to support it even if they ruin amazing matches on a nightly basis and couldn't tell a children story.

Penta, Jade, Russv, Ethan Page, and Ricky are all in a way better positions now than they were in AEW.

It's a bit disingenuous to say they haven't gotten way more mainstream since switching brands except for Fenix and Andrade

BRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOKKKKKKLLLLLYYYYYNNNN
Wiki says he’s 6’0 and 190

But to truly test this manlet theory out, as I. Wiki is lying, I need him to stand next to Finn.
I'm 5'10 - 5'11, 207 and waaay bigger than him in both muscle mass and height for context.

He's probably around 170 irl and 5'9.
