Thats four right there who were perceived as bigger homegrown talents than Ricky Starks and tbh hes better than three of them and stood toe to toe with MJF on the mic. I didnt say he didnt do ANYTHING in AEW but ending his babyface run to tag with Big Bill was a flop. Theres no spin needed he deserved better as theres no reason he couldnt have been where Swerve is early on.Look at this sad shyt.

He was one of their #1 homegrown guys and being pushed to the moon - AND THEN HE DECIDED TO LEAVE.
The WWE wanted him specifically because he was on TV getting put over by Punk and Danielson and turning into a major star.
Look at how y'all need to tip-toe around everything he hasn't been since he left so many don't dig up "Tony fumbled" narratives.
None of the guys who went back made a good decisions. Not because AEW is doing particularly well or anything - but because AEW is doing okay, and is a platform that still genuinely wants for star power. Everyone who went back took a personal step backwards even if they joined the bigger product.
It was always more about the WWE subtracting from AEW than it was adding to their product.
The WWE doesn't "NEED" anyone, and they also clearly want to pay people as little as possible. Andrade, Starks, Jade, Miro all played themselves thinking they were getting that Cody treatment
I dont disagree that most of these guys that jumped to WWE made bad decisions in a status sense but if theyre making more money in a place they always wanted to work then whatever. I still aint watching

Starks definitely isn't 5'8, he's got quite a bit of height on Danielson (who's like 5'7-5'8)
He's actually right there with Punk, who's 5'11-6'0
I'd say that Ricky is about 5'11, 5'10 at the very least
