I swear black children are the most unloved children. I'm a banker and I use to double as a pb, I encountered white "kids" at the tender age of 35 still using accounts linked to their parents, total beneficiary, meaning when shyt gets rough for their 35 year old ass they can just swipe mommy/daddy card and keep it moving. But with black families there's this sense of "grow the fukk up!" That the community pushes on us from as early as I'd say 15 years old maybe. Get a job and start saving cause ur ass will be kicked out at 18 sharp so u can never save any money and u will surely be doomed to live pay check to pay check until ur dead only to leave behind debt and more broke kids.

It's like what's the point of parents? Why don't we just birth our children then leave them out in the wild, make them fend for themeselves? How the fukk is Asking or even demanding that ur parent who abandoned u to give u money? Money run the world tf Take his ass to court, that's not tryna suck him dry thats his SEED making a better life for himself and thus a better life for his grandchildren! Like ok maybe we could've said he was broke before and genuinely couldn't help but nah that's just his who he is. He's a fukked up person with no morals he feels nothing about what he's done OP.

OP, in reality you're a b*stard son. Whether he walked out on his family, or your moms pushed him out, obviously his view of you ain't the same. You made it to age 28 and in good health (assuming). This is the hand you've been dealt. If he ain't offering his share then keep it pushing. No reason to leach off a man whose essentially a random dude to you at age 28 :bigboi: getting the court involved for some covetous nature is backwards.

Get a lawyer and sue his ass. Claim you've suffered extreme emotional trauma from him not ever teaching you how to play catch thus experiencing a lifetime of shame and ridicule for "throwing like a girl". Say the mere sight of a glove or baseball causes you to collapse into a quivering mess greatly diminishing your quality of life.

Dude you do realize that those white kids have an inheritance from their parents that was past down from their parents. African Americans don't come from families with wealth and you know this. As a banker you should know good damn well that you can't amass the amount of money those cac 35 yr old cacs get in 1 fukking lifetime. I'm sick of people saying it's our own fault for the financial position we are in fukk all ya'll doing that shyt.

fukk that nikka breh that's not your dad. That's your sperm donor. I don't even know why you connected with people from your dad side.

Treat him how he treat you act like he don't exist.

If he look out cool don't go over there begging on your hands and knees talking about how come he don't love me man.:mjcry:

You made this far in life without him continue on

So, my deadbeat dad won the lottery a couple of days ago. He has, for the most part, ignored me since me and my mom divorced when I was 6. I even became close with my little brother over my dad neglecting him as well after my dad and my little brother's mom separated.

My first thought was "meh, good for him". However, now I am starting to feel depressed because friends and family up north keeps reminding me over and over that he won.

"You know your dad is a millionaire now, right?" I'm almost 28 years old, and we haven't spoken in years, that has nothing to do with me.
"You need to reach out to him" up until 2013, I would call him once a year to tell him happy birthday (which is today), and I would never hear back from him, so I stopped.

"He might be looking for you" he knows where my family is, if he had any interest in talking to me, he would know how to find me.

I think I may be suffering from this for a while. Yes, I work for myself, and I feel like I am on my way myself, but I still resent him for him not being there. Not being there to give advice. It makes me not believe in Karma anymore. It makes me not believe in anything anymore.

One of the things that drove me the most was so he can see who I have become, and feel bad that he wasn't there to help. Now, that will never happen. Am I being unreasonable? Am I being too prideful to just reach out? I need some help on this one.

Edit:
My mom never put him on child support.

I don't have any of his contact info. I would just call him for his birthday, but have to get his number through other people because he changed it so often.

I never badmouthed him to my little brother.

The root of this isn't the money, it's my anger that he was never there for his children, and spent the money he did have on friends and girls using him (they would even brag about it).

I was just hoping that there would be one time in his life where he would say "I wish I was there for my kids" more, and reach out or something. Now that he won the money, he probably never will feel that way. That's what bothers me.

How much he win?
