Chess is there so why not? I don't consider it or chess sports through.
Chess is in the olympics????

Hope it makes it..just don't put games like Madden or 2k in it. Put shooters and strategy games

Maybe I'm being superficial but ELECTRICITY should not be a requirement to compete in a sport.

That sounds so frail...how can you say that.As someone that actually played multiple games competitively.
Training for games like DotA 2, StarCraft, street fighter require the same if not more dedication than any other sport.

That sounds so frail...how can you say that.
Doesn't matter what it sounds like it is what it is.
Ive been down the road of "games and comics aren't cool"
Now video games are right up there with movies and the most popular and successful movies are based on comics.
Everyone knows who Thor is now and everyone knows what GTA means.
It takes the same kind of dedication and passion and natural skill to be great at a game competitively that it does for anything else.
A lot of nikka think oh if I had 8 hours to "lay around" and practice a game I'd be good too.
Nope, it doesn't work like that, it's just the same for any of the athletes. They might be putting in the same amount of hustle but there are skill walls and certain things and areas that some excel at and others...can't.
Nah im a gamer but you gotta seperate the 2 fam. The physical dedication, the pain management, weight training, eating right, and difficulty level. Those things you can't compare dedication video game and real life. I know many people that's nice at 2k but can't hoop in real life. You good at street fighter but not nice with the real handsDoesn't matter what it sounds like it is what it is.
