I watch this young breh that does first time movie reactions…he’s a filmmaker so he provides a lot of dope insight into the technical aspects of filmmaking and how they impact visual storytelling…it’s dope to see him catch shyt I completely missed when I watched the movies…

i’ve revisited a few films off the strength of his insight and I pay more attention to shyt like framing and camerawork when i watch movies now…

Some of them shyts are lowkey hilarious. You tend to figure out which one(s) you rock with, and which ones are lowkey annoying.

The most annoying trend of this is seeing Black people reacting to right wing propaganda and people in the comments saying "Herp derp. You're a freethinker."

A lot of the music ones are fake but there's a lot of genuinely good music ones too. I think the comedy ones tend to have the most realistic reactions though because, without fail, every other reaction I've seen to Patrice O Neal's or Bill Burr's comedy set had women looking uncomfortable af while still laughing.

People mostly watch videos to share the experience with someone else but a good portion of the creators cap about watching it for the first time.
