Allison was worse but I wasn't out in the middle of Allison and it didn't really effect my side of town too badly. This last shyt hovered over the city, more so the southwest side, for four or five hours. Then it stopped. And started again an hour or so later for another couple of hours. For once the media hype was on point. This shyt was bad. For a historical perspective take a look at this site. I vaguely remember the 1994 floods.

I never said it wasn't bad or serious. Of course this one would be worse to you it was in your area. Just because Allison wasn't as bad for you personally and this on was doesn't make it the worse storm. I am talking about as a whole and amount of time Allison was worse. As for media hype I am saying them saying the whole city was under water. It wasn't, that's ususally how it is because Houston is so large. There were a lot of areas in Houston going along like business as usual. On the north west by 610, 290, I-10 and the beltway it didn't look like anything was wrong at all.
In my first sentence I said Allison was the the worse of the two storms. I didn't know it was a debate.

How about them Rockets?
I have a new nickname for Steph Curry. "Phantom of the Mopera". Get it? Mop. Opera. Mopera.

Easy there. Just responding from the perspective of someone who nearly drowned in the storm. In my first sentence I said Allison was the the worse of the two storms. I didn't know it was a debate.
