One thing that's consistent is jay has the most stupid fans. People are on twitter like "I got the album but I'm gonna buy it to support jay z." Jay is worth like 380mil, if anything you should save your $13 and maybe one day you can be worth something.

The numbers shouldnt be surprising. This is pretty much what was expected from a Jay-Z album. Sure 1 million copies were purchased by Samsung (brilliant move for both parties), however.....he is still going to move a lot more units...also not a surprise.

What I am curious about, is who will be next to make an attempt at putting their album out in a similar fashion.

Im sure the management copies for other big artists are putting out feelers to some of these big companies to see if they can get a big payday for similar treatment. Who will be the next one?

Hov doesn't get enough credit for actually caring about black artists and athletes keep getting snaked by big business. It's subtle but he been on that shyt a long ass time. Problem is people just skim shyt.

It really is......he is the only mainstream hip-hop artist who has show longevity in a genre who's fans are quick to disregard artists very quickly. The man is 43 years old and is still able to sell an abundance of albums to a demographic is decades younger then him.

He has rockstar band longevity. No other hip-hop act can claim that (if Dr. Dre dropped an album tomorrow it would move just as many if not more then Jay)....Eminem could but he doesn't seem to want that limelight (between albums hes pretty much MIA)

Yes there are a number of acts that can still do it even long after the mainstream general public has lost interests (The Tribes, Wu-Tangs, etc....still have loyal fan-bases who purchase albums and go seem them especially overseas)....but Jay?
