This is my point exactly. Blogs and magazines have staff full of people who are like you.

Its all about resources, the black owned publications dont have the economics to compete on the same level as these white owned publications and because of that they seem like non-factors.

Im talking to the rest of the posters here on the coli...This just serves as a reminder that black people need to put their focus on who owns what you contribute to. Too many black people in influential positions keep talking that koom-baya, "hip hop belongs to everybody" bullshiit but yet somehow EVERYBODY has ownership except for us.

The sooner we have a strong black economic pool, the sooner we can take control of the culture that WE create. Instead of having it b*stardized and diluted by privileged cacs who don't give a fuuck.
