imo, the industry just created another non-draw for themselves.
as, now everyone knows no real indie talent can actually create grassroots radio airplay.
as, the migos and thug's signings in pr.
just create another dead limb that has no ability for the industry to spawn, and draw from.

hoping they can attach themselves to their industry via publishing/locensing.
when, the music industry does not realize.
film and tv have their own jingle makers and have been waiting for the musc industry to fukk it self as it is doing, now.
to allow lesser talented jingle makers the forum to go unoppossed, with new entries.
the music industry already messed up, by never creating quality children acts.
to act as dual draws against children programming jingle acts.
which is how EDM, arose.
as the EDM Crowd are all children from the most mid nineties.
who latched onto Disneychannel's grassroots EDM/rays of light style parody music from acts like cheetah girls.
previously, the music industry before that.
seeded the film tv realm with former Disney channel acts.
who went next in line, after the last wide spread children acts of nkotb and backstreet.
which created the lane of nsync, Brittany, and Christina.
all pedigreed Disney acts, who showed the largest last pop returns consistently from one sector.
now, these types of classically trained talents have no other avenue to draw.
so, film/tv/stage will keep these artist and use them for their projects solely.
as there is no drawing lane for those artists, in music anymore.
to warrant exploring outside of a larger more profitable film region.
