So Playstation Now Beta for PS4 starts today...

There won't be that many games you'd wanna use. Because you already played them.
Yes, some you haven't. How many? And how much time would you spend when you have a constant stream of new games that end up on backlogs
Not knocking the idea of this, I just don't see the practicality in the long term

I used to be a semi-hardcore gamer way back when. Playing damn near any game that was great. But as I got older I became mostly a sports gamer while still playin some non sports games occasionally. So PSNow is gonna be perfect for a gamer like me who just wants to expirence games they slept on last gen. Hell even the gen before that. But I'll giv u dat no one has no fukin clue of the pricing or selection of games. But if it is what it is this sh1t gon be

Sh1t work exponentially better than I thought it would. It's just going to come down to the selection of games. Because if the LOU runs well on here I see no reason to pay 60 for the PS4 version. When I can rent it for a week or a month for a few bucks.

Why would you stream a PS3 version of a game with lag likely over playing a native 1080p/60fps version of the game for PS4 with graphical enhancements, gameplay tweaks and extra content?? They're not going to have PS4 games streaming PS now if that's what you're thinking.

I passed on TLOU because I knew they would make a Quad version. But when I heard about NOW. I was like that's dope.now that I tried the beta. I might have to change my mind. I pre ordered it TLOU just in case. My expirence with NOW was great. The latency is no where close to being a game breaker. And that's just the beta. So it can only get better. I love graphics like the next man, but if the gameplay is the same I see no reason to spend 55 more $ on prettier graphics

Who said it'll be $5?? Plus the game being in 60fps would actually enhance the gameplay. Idk man, I wouldn't opt for a lesser version of a game in that form. If I didn't have a PS4 okay but having a Ps4 and skipping a classic remastered version to play the original version with it's lower visuals and performance?? That's backwards to me.

Playing games on ps now is tight there's no download so u play right away and there's no lag at all! I have 15mbps internet and I actually get that exact download speed on my ps4 so it doesn't take a crazy connection to do it either

And that tlou comment was stupid I would much rather pay 60 for ps4 version but I never played the original so different state of mine

But yea the beta sucks cuz the game selection is wack but this thing works great

u right it is backwards. As in backwards compatibility. I kinda wish TLOU wasn't a option for NOW. So I would cop the PS4 version 100% for sure. But I ain't into multiplayer games like that. when I beat it in like a week. I could trade it or sell it. But with NOW. I could just let it expire and move on to another game I slept on.

If it's rental base I just assume 5 bucks at the most for a week rental. Sony would be foolish to charge more.

So basically they selling games for $5 which is sounds good. But It'll be games that are worth less than $5
I don't see a game like BF4 PS3 being on there. But BF3 which they gave away for free on PS+ already
Maybe that would be available. Not sure if the servers still up tho
I do know the servers for the majority of these games been down. So only single player games
I just don't see those games grabbing peoples attention more than current games and backlogs MOST of us have

Look at PS plus breh. A lot of times we get games in that same calendar year. It's no telling how new these games will be. Nba 2k14 & Tomb raider were free. I could give a damn if they offered all those games for FREE
Only gamers who can't afford new games would care for this. I used to work at a gaming store
Basically foreigners would buy up old gen systems and games.. this is heaven for them
Then there are the gamers who always play classic games...usually on emulators
But the majority of gamers don't fit into those categories. And thats what sony spent all this money on

But now they're charging you to test out any games in the beta
