It's so much dope r&b out there fam, i find a lot of random shyt through YouTube
For real though...you have to do some digging. A lot of the best R&B now is from obscure, unknown artists building a name, older artists who are indie and artists lacking the image/push to enter the mainstream. If you just listen to the radio or rely on Coli niccas to tell you bullshyt like PND or Tiller is popping then...:francis:

Im still puzzled to how Tiller got put on in the first place. There's dozens and dozens of other soundcloud nonsingers "singing" over generic beats they got from Youtube after searching Drake Type Beat that sound just like him.

I listened to his Trapsoul album from start to finish and It just about put me to sleep. If this is what bytches these days are getting wet over then they must nut every time they take Nyquil.

Tiller is definitely generic as a singer/writer, but his production is anything but generic. I don't know how anyone listens to "Don't" and "Been That Way" and thinks: "Yeah, I've heard these type of beats a million times. Nothing special here." Respectfully, you're just flat out lying to yourself.

Sorta like Rocky, you can't blow up on your first project by being 100% generic.
